I installed NextGEN Gallery for WordPress and so far I like it. Easy to install, add an album and photos to the album. Throw in the fact that I can put a slideshow and random image on the right and in seconds, is awesome! My first had to be my dogs, of course! 
Found a theme I like and have things moving on the personal blog again. Trying to find some nice useful items to add including some Facebook integration.
